Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 July 2026
clipfield (“we”, “us”) is an AI tool that turns a video transcript into optimized YouTube metadata. This policy explains what we collect and why. If you have questions, email hello@shovelware.ai.
What we collect
- Account data. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture. We use these to create and identify your account.
- Content you submit. The transcripts and any YouTube URLs you paste, plus the metadata we generate from them, are stored so you can review your history.
- Usage data. We count the optimizations you run each month to enforce plan limits.
How we use it
- To run optimizations and show you your results and history.
- To enforce free and paid plan limits.
- To send you essential service email (for example, a welcome message).
Third parties
- Google — for sign-in (OAuth). We request only your basic profile and email.
- OpenRouter — transcripts you submit are sent to OpenRouter, which routes them to the AI model (Claude Haiku 4.5) that generates the metadata.
- Cloudflare — hosts the application and database.
We do not sell your personal data or your transcripts, and we do not use your content to train our own models.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your account and job history until you ask us to delete it. To request deletion of your account and data, email hello@shovelware.ai.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
